  Welcome

Jay W. Albovias, M.D. specializes in the treatment of many specific diseases and conditions through minimally invasive procedures using multiple imaging techniques such as x-rays, ultrasounds, and CT's (CAT scans) . These imaging techniques are used to guide small instruments such as catheters (small tubes a few millimeters in diameter) through blood vessels and other pathways into the body through a small skin nick to treat certain medical conditions without the need for surgery. General anesthesia is usually not required. These procedures are typically less costly, require less recovery time, and usually require an outpatient visit or an occasional short overnight hospital stay.
